Fred Beckey was born in 1923, and is alive and kicking it Eastern Sierra style! Fred is part of North American Climbing history. He is a legendary pioneer and has many classic first ascents.

Two friends went out climbing with him on a route he pioneered 50 years ago. The story I am editing is the account of Fred Climbing at 80.
