Jeremy on the chair @Meadows. This photo is one of my favorite portraits because represents the love of snow with a twist of PDX hipster culture.

The Waterstreet Hotel Shoot

Looking out

Who is pumalogy? Photo: Anne Burden

Sometime you must contemplate. Stand with "the practice of the wild", give Gary Snyder a moment of your attention and make up your own Koan. Monosyllabic words like rocks making a path.

It's windy at 5240m.

At the end of June 2010 only one group got out of camp. The wind got increasingly worse throughout the day forcing group after group to return after attempting to descend. You know it's bad when you can't go down.

Willie Prettie, Alpine Ascents International's lead Guide, was looking for a way, and a break in the wind to see if was possible to go down. Out there while everyone else was huddled in their tents, Willie looked like a Yellow Denali Yeti.

Willie, the next day leading clients down after a successful summit bid. Mount Hunter is in the background and Windy Pass on the lower right side of the image.

Self-Portrait of the Enchantments traverse

Coldchuck Lake

Escaping trouble and the elevation, traversing the "Enchantments" (A F*%king Gem!)

Sometimes you are over it. But "it" is not over you yet. Snow lakes 6 miles to go.
